GSK Scholarships Highlights: 

Three prestigious scholarships aim to foster the growth of future leaders in global health and enhance the capabilities of health systems and research in Africa.

Key Features:

Competitive scholarships for one-year, full-time, London-based MSc programs at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be nationals of and reside in sub-Saharan African countries.
• Plan to return to sub-Saharan Africa after completing the LSHTM MSc program.
• Demonstrate financial need through the Supplementary Questions Form.
• Meet LSHTM's minimum English language requirements.
• Hold a first or upper-second-class equivalency level degree.
• Have an offer of admission for 2024/2025 for one of LSHTM's 19 London-based MSc programs.

Priority will be given to candidates showcasing potential contributions to public health or health-related research in Africa.

Award Details:

For the academic year 2024/2025, three scholarships will cover:

• Tuition fees, including mandatory field trip fees.
• A tax-free stipend (living allowance) of GBP 17,633.00.

Application Process:

Follow these two steps by the scholarship deadline (23:59 GMT, Sunday, 27 February):

• Step 1:Submit an application for the 2024/2025 London-based MSc program, following the instructions under the 'How to Apply' tab on the relevant program page.
